Hope for COVID-19 Long Haulers

I tested positive for COVID 19 in early December 2020. A sudden loss of taste and smell prompted me to get tested. All other symptoms were very mild. I was fortunate to be able to recover at home without the need of hospitalization. That does not necessarily mean recovery was a walk in the park. It is not something I would wish on my worst enemy. I returned to work and normal activity after two weeks. I still suffer from brain fog, stress induced rapid heart rate and fatigue. I did not experience these symptoms at this level before COVID.
Some COVID-19 long haulers are revealing they are seeing an improvement in symptoms after receiving the vaccine. Scientists and the medical community are at a loss as to why this occurs. They do not have enough scientific evidence to clearly support the existence of long haul COVID let alone the effects of the vaccines on this condition. Nevertheless, I find this news to be very encouraging. I look forward to hearing more about this in the future.
