New cryptocurrency startups have been established to assist female entrepreneurs in obtaining funding for their projects.
Currently, there is a lack of gender diversity in the crypto and web3 spaces. According to BCG research, female-led startups generate nearly 10% higher returns on investment than male-led startups over a five-year period.
Women-led crypto initiatives, on the other hand, are uncommon in a male-dominated industry and are less likely to receive venture capital funding.
A new startup, AllStars Women, aims to close the gender funding gap and make the crypto-space more inclusive.
Leila Hurstel, co-founder of AllStars Women, stated that there is also a problem with educating women about the crypto space. "Only 9% of women feel they understand crypto, and this means that the majority of women are being left behind from one of the most important opportunities for wealth creation of our generation," Hurstel said.
